The Challenge:
The Birchwood Group had grown by franchise expansion, therefore each branch had its own siloed, workgroup based unmanaged PC estate.
There was little synergy between the systems, with the company unable to easily collaborate and share resources.
A legacy email server for the county-wide group was held at Head Office in Eastbourne, giving the company a vulnerable single point of failure.
The Project:
The Birchwood Group had some key goals to achieve by upgrading their IT infrastructure. They were determined to boost collaboration and productivity and improve availability at all branches.
M-Tech proposed moving the automotive company’s entire IT estate to the cloud via a staged 18 month roll out plan.
